Dr. Gugler received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in 2005. She completed a surgical and emergency internship at Arboreturn View Animal Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. She then completed a residency in emergency and critical care at Dove Lewis Animal Emergency Hospital in Portland, OR in 2009. Dr. Gugler spent several months in Seattle, Washington helping to start a new Emergency and Critical Care practice before returning to the Kansas City area to be closer to her family. She has a large collection of rescued pets including an American Bulldog, two cats, and three chinchillas. When not at the hospital, she spends her free time pursuing her vast array of hobbies including scuba diving, fused glass art, photography, hiking, and baking.
